I started Outrun Strategies because I wanted to help people. Too often we allow ourselves to do things the hard way, just because that is how we have always done it before. It is my personal philosophy that everything is worth looking at again, so we can really continue to expand our horizons.

I am Strategic, Maximizer, Ideation, Achiever, Adaptability. I am also a Gemini.

I love art, tattoos, video games, reading, traveling, and playing music. You will hear me quoting Bob’s Burgers or Ron Swanson in my regular everyday speech.

I have a Bachelors in Art, an MBA in International Business, and a passion for data analytics.

Dylan Vandel | Partner

Hi, I’m Dylan and I joined Outrun because of my love for data. I get that not everyone may be super into numbers, which is why I love making their data more meaningful to them. I have over six years of experience with Vantagepoint, getting the most out of the information at my fingertips. 

The only thing I love more than data and analytics is spending time in the sun and water with my wife and daughter. Any type of water will do – ocean, lake, above-ground-pool – we don’t discriminate. Few things leave me feeling recharged like sunshine, laughter, and a mild sunburn. 

My passion for analytics doesn’t stop in the office, either. I enjoy immersing myself in sports data, whether it be scrutinizing why my St. Louis Cardinals are falling in the standings or who I’m drafting in the eleventh round of my fantasy football draft. Data is everywhere and I love being able to apply it. And while it may not always translate to legendary success for my fantasy football team “A Picture of Mediocrity” on the mobile gridiron next fall, sound data can empower trusted business decisions every moment of every day.
